Maximus IV Extreme (M4E), placa-mãe top da Asus pertencente à cobiçada linha Republic of Gamers, e que traz, dentre outros destaques, o fato de contar com o suporte à nova geração de processadores com chip gráfico integrado (APU) da Intel, o Sandy Bridge.

A M4E é baseada no novo chipset P67 da Intel, voltado para o segmento de alto desempenho, contando com uma performace superior ao H67, este último sendo voltado para explorar a GPU integrada do Sandy Bridge.
